Vacancy news: Two Animal Licensing Officers

Two fantastic opportunities have arisen to become involved in ensuring Wales maintains its position as a world leader in protecting animal welfare.

Monmouthshire County Council is leading a Local Authority (Animal Licensing) Enforcement Project on behalf of Trading Standards Wales that is looking to develop consistency across the whole dog breeding industry.

The posts will increase the current team and cover a region across Wales ensuring the health and welfare of all animals covered by animal licensing is protected, through a new model that applies to all not just commercial operations including increasing the effectiveness in fighting and preventing illegal and unlicensed activities.
